06/02/2010 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp does not expect to sign Chelsea and England midfielder Joe Cole this summer but believes the out-of-contract player will be leaving Stamford Bridge.
Redknapp worked with the 28-year-old when they were together at West Ham and had expressed a desire to be reunited with a player who was named in Fabio Capello's 23-man England squad for the World Cup on Tuesday.
Contract negotiations with the Blues broke down earlier this year and Cole was a peripheral figure in the club's double-winning campaign.
Redknapp said: "I'm a big fan of his but the feedback we've got is that he's already signed for somebody else.
"I've got a feeling he may have agreed to a deal with somebody. Certainly in the summer someone is going to make a very good free signing if he doesn't stay at Chelsea.
"I don't think it's going to be Tottenham that sign him, but if he hasn't agreed to a deal with somebody and he doesn't stay at Chelsea, then we'd be interested."
Cole has found the net 38 times in 282 appearances for Chelsea in his seven seasons at Stamford Bridge.

Sportsbook refunded tens of thousands of dollars to customers who bet on Oakland, Green Bay and Tampa Bay, the three teams that stunk up the field so badly that their fans and backers never had a chance to get up from their couches and cheer. In the spirit of the low scoring start to the season, odds makers at the world’s largest online sportsbook and casino have set odds on how many total shutouts there will be this season.
MySportsbook.com has posted updated sports betting lines for week two of the season.
