05/11/2010 - New York, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Emerson Boozer and Troy Brown were among four players and two coaches inducted into the 2010 Divisional Class of the College Football Hall of Fame, as announced Tuesday by Archie Manning, chairman of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame.

Boozer, who was a running back for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore between 1962-65, and Brown, a wide receiver for Marshall from 1991-92, join California Lutheran linebacker Brian Kelley and Massachusetts tight end Milt Morin as players, while Willie Jeffries and Ted Kessinger were elected as coaches.

"The 2010 Divisional Hall of Fame Class consists of players and coaches who have defined excellence in our sport," said Manning, a 1989 Hall of Fame inductee from Ole Miss. "We share the pride felt by their families, friends and schools and look forward to immortalizing their achievements in college football's ultimate shrine."

Boozer, a four-year letterman, compiled 2,537 yards and 22 touchdowns during his career at Maryland Eastern Shore, averaging a robust 6.78 yards per carry. He went on to play 10 seasons for the New York Jets.

Brown recorded 139 receptions for 2,746 yards and 24 touchdowns in just two years at Marshall, while adding 1,825 return yards and four touchdowns on special teams. He later played 14 seasons in the NFL, most notably for the New England Patriots, where he became their all-time leading receiver.

Kelley, California Lutheran's first-ever Hall of Fame inductee, led the Kingsmen to the 1971 NAIA Division II national championship and was named MVP of the title game. He finished his career with a then-school record 17 interceptions and played for the New York Giants from 1973-83.

Morin, a two-time All-American, compiled 1,151 career receiving yards at UMass and was a three-sport athlete (wrestling, lacrosse) at the school. The Browns selected Morin with their first round pick in the 1965 draft and he spent 10 years with playing for Cleveland.

Jeffries was head coach at Howard (1984-88), Wichita State (1979-83) and South Carolina State (1973-78, 1989-2001). In 1979, he was the first African- American to be hired as a head coach at a Division-I school (Wichita State). He finished his career with a 179-132-6 record and was the winningest coach in South Carolina State and MEAC history.

Kessinger spent his entire 28-year head coaching career at Bethany College, where he went 219-57-1 and led his teams to 13 national championship playoff appearances. He was also the NAIA's winningest active coach in total wins before retiring in 2003.

The 2010 Divisional Class, which considers players and coaches from the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA), Divisions II, III, and the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), will be enshrined on July 16-17, in South Bend, Indiana.
